Fit&Well writer reports that NordicTrack Select-A-Weight adjustable dumbbells are nearly $80 off during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Day sale. The writer says they supported more frequent home workouts and steadily heavier lifts over seven weeks, but those results are personal experience, not independent product testing.
NordicTrack Select-A-Weight adjustable dumbbells are nearly $80 off on Amazon during its Prime Big Deal Day sale, according to a Fit&Well report by a fitness writer who says they used the set for seven weeks of home strength training. The writer reported training more regularly and increasing the weights, offering a personal account of the equipment rather than independent evidence of its performance.
The writer said they had strength trained for more than five years, usually at a gym, before moving to home workouts after relocating to a city. They chose adjustable dumbbells because they wanted something heavy to lift that would not take up too much space. The report identifies the product as the NordicTrack Select-A-Weight set.
After seven weeks of using the dumbbells while training exclusively at home, the writer said working out at home made it easier to exercise regularly. They also reported getting stronger and consistently increasing the weights. The writer described the adjustment lever as quick to use and said the weights had not fallen out of place during their workouts.
The account also includes a limitation: the writer found the dumbbells a little wide for their hands. They said they had not lifted more than 30 pounds with each dumbbell at the time of writing, and expected the set to remain useful as they continued increasing resistance. The source does not give the product’s exact sale price, the discount’s end date, or independent test results.
A Compact Option for Home Lifting
Adjustable dumbbells can give home exercisers several resistance settings without requiring a separate pair for every weight. That can matter for people with limited storage space or those looking to build a basic strength-training setup at home. The Fit&Well writer’s experience illustrates one possible benefit: they said the convenience helped them work out more often.
The report is also a sale notice, but shoppers cannot verify the exact savings from the supplied information alone. The stated discount is nearly $80, not an exact price comparison. Buyers should check the listing for the current price, what the set includes, delivery terms and whether the offer is still available. The writer’s progress is a personal account; it does not establish that the dumbbells will produce similar results for other users.

From Gym Routine to Home Training
The writer said their training had generally been gym-based for more than five years. After a recent move, they chose to switch to exercising at home and researched equipment that could provide resistance without taking up much room. They selected the NordicTrack adjustable set before using it for the seven-week period described in the report.
The writer said they applied progressive overload—gradually increasing the weight used in workouts—and that the adjustment lever made changing loads quick. Their highest reported lift with the set was 30 pounds per dumbbell. The source does not specify the full weight range, the number of weight increments, the dimensions of the set, or which exercises the writer performed.

Price and Product Details Unspecified
The supplied report does not list the exact sale price, the reference price used to calculate the nearly $80 discount, or when the promotion ends. It also does not provide independent testing, a full specification sheet, or details such as the dumbbells’ weight range and increments. The safety observation—that the weights stayed in place—reflects the writer’s use and is not a guarantee for every user or unit.
It is also unclear how much of the writer’s reported strength progress came from the equipment itself, their training plan, consistency, or other factors. Their experience should be read as an individual testimonial, not a controlled comparison with gym training or other dumbbell models.

Check the Listing Before Buying
People considering the set can check Amazon’s product page for the live price and sale status, along with the included weights, adjustment increments, shipping details and return policy. Because the source gives no end date, the discount’s duration cannot be confirmed from the report.
Shoppers should also compare the product’s dimensions and handle feel with their own needs. The writer specifically found the dumbbells wide for their hands, while their maximum reported use was 30 pounds per side. The article does not say whether the set will suit people who need heavier loads or a narrower grip.
